PRESS START transports us inside the bright, pixelated world of video games! When the famous characters we know and love run out of lives, they decide to put on a musical fundraiser that will help them raise gold rings and play on. Through hilarious and heartfelt musical numbers we see the heroes, villains and sidekicks like we’ve never seen them before. But when things go terribly awry, it’s the quiet sidekick Little Mushroom who must find the hero within to help save the day!
July 13 - 24, 2026
Ages 6–12 (ages 11–12 must be recent 5th or 6th grade graduates)
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
We’re hopeful to offer something special for our younger students. The Little Mushroom Class is a half-day experience where TK and Kinder students can perform alongside the older kids, just like in our school productions.
Minimum: 15 students are required to run this program
Price: Public $375 | Santa Teresa & Matsumoto promotional price $325
How to join: email productions@mystagepresence.com with your name, school, your student’s name and age, and let us know you’re interested. Once we reach an interest list of at least 15 students, we’ll send a registration link.
This offering would likely run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Step 1: Please register below using our opus1 booking system for our Summer Elementary School Musical Theater Camp Production of Press Start! (you are here!) and accept the terms and conditions after you pay! This system will ask for a deposit of $175 to secure your spot. If you are ready to pay your balance, just login and pay. All payments are due in full by May 1st, 2026.
If you are a current Matsumoto Elementary, Santa Teresa Elementary, Willow Glen Elementary, or Saint Andrew's student, please use the (separate link emailed to you or email productions@mystagepresence.com to request it) to pay the discounted registration rate of $375.
