San Jose Newsies Jr. & Winter Nuggets Chorus Class!

Age Note: If your 6 year old has done our Nuggets program and you think they are ready for a more challenging program, we will consider them for our older Cabaret program. It generally works best to have them in both because they can be a leader in their peer group while also learning from the older kids.

Newsies Jr. Program Overview: Our next Cabaret Program will be Newsies Jr. If we are able to reach our minimum number of participants, we will run the whole production and if we have a smaller cabaret class, we will perform dance, vocal, and scene selections from the show. In the Cabaret program, we will get to know each student’s musical theater abilities and work to build their skills throughout our time with them. These smaller classes are often a wonderful way for students to build confidence, develop musical theater skills, and form close friendships while having a lot of fun.
Rehearsals: will take place: Fridays 5:30pm-8:30pm directly after our Nugget Chorus. Students will be called by character.
Registration Cost for our Musical Theater Cabaret: $550/student ($200 deposit required to register. Balance due or will automatically processed in our booking system by November 15, 2026)
Costume Fee: There will be no costume fee unless we run the full production. If so, a costume fee ranging from $50-75 will be invoiced part way through the program. All balances must be cleared in order to perform.

Introducing our Winter Nugget Chorus Classes for ages 3.5-6!

Nugget Program Overview: Our Nugget Chorus Class will rehearse 30 minutes per week and will open our Cabaret Performance with their very own performance of 2-3 songs! Prepare for the ultimate cuteness! We will need a minimum of 10 students per class to run each class. In the event we do not meet our minimum, we will notify families. We will max at 25 students per Nugget Class. Occasionally we will go up to 30 spots but will plan to waitlist at 25.
Nugget Chorus Class Times & Theme:
Disney Villain Nugget Chorus: Fridays 5pm-5:30pm.
Registration Cost for Chicken Nuggets: (Ages 3.5-6): $175/student ($100 deposit required to register. Balance due or will automatically processed in our booking system by November 15, 2026) We typically do not have our Nuggets wear costumes, but if we decide to have costumes, the same fee will apply to both groups.
