Jaymee Senigaglia

Founder & Head of Vocal Dept.

Jaymee Vocal Directing “I See Stars” In Summer of 2023

Jaymee Senigaglia is an established Vocal Director in Children’s Theater and Vocal Coach in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jaymee studied Musical Theater at AMDA and Voice at the Matt Farnsworth Vocal Studio in New York City. Jaymee also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business with an emphasis in Voice from Berklee College of Music.

Jaymee opened Stage Presence in 2016. Stage Presence is the premier Bay Area Studio for Confidence Through Singing and Music, as well as Audition Coaching. Jaymee returned to the stage in 2019 as "Pattie" in West Valley Light Opera's production of Smokey Joe's Cafe, where her portrayal of "Pattie" led to her nomination for an Irma Award as well as a Theater Bay Area (T.B.A.) nomination for Best Ensemble. Jaymee has created a successful college age assisting Program at Stage Presence for aspiring coaches, developed and implemented three daycare/preschool music programs, and has vocal directed at local Youth Theaters including CMTSJ, Starting Arts, 42nd Street Moon, Playful People, Throckmorton, and recently produced Stage Presence’s very first production of Mean Girls Jr. in Summer 2023.

 

Becca cabagbag

Vocal, Piano, Songwriting and Guitar Coach

Becca is a student majoring in songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Also an alumni from Archbishop Mitty High school, some of her involvement in past musical theater productions include Jesus Christ Superstar and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Aside from her involvement in musical theater, Becca was also a member of the award winning Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, jazz choir Kind of Blue, and liturgical rock band Exodus. Now, as a college student, she occasionally performs live music for various venues both in Boston and her hometown, San Jose. In her free time, Becca writes and produces her own original music and looks forward to sharing her art with the world. She’s excited to be part of the Stage Presence team!

Joe Schaben

Co-owner & Head of Instrument Dept.

Joe is a co-owner of Stage Presence, where he built and launched the instrument program, which focuses on technique, ear-training, and music theory fundamentals. He is a multi-instrumentalist who was born and raised in the city of Las Vegas. Joe attended the College of Southern Nevada, where he won numerous awards as he completed his Associates Degree in Drum Set Performance, while also privately studying jazz piano, and saxophone. Joe also has a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Commercial Music Performance, with an emphasis in saxophone/multi-woodwinds. During his time at UNLV, Joe was a member of UNLV’s prestigious Jazz Ensemble I, which won numerous awards from Downbeat Magazine, as well as Jazz Times Magazine. In addition, Joe has also had the opportunity to perform live with many incredible players, such as trumpeter Kenny Rampton from the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, drummer Butch Miles from The Count Basie Orchestra, drummer Gregg Bissonette from Ringo Starr’s All-Star Band, among others. As an educator, Joe spent 4 years as a percussion technician for multiple high schools in the Las Vegas valley. Since moving to the Bay Area, Joe has spent time working with both public and private school music programs, and is currently working as a music teacher for Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School in Saratoga, CA.

 

Jo Tayaban

Vocal & Acting Coach & Assistant

Jo Tayaban is a singer-songwriter hailing from Aurora, Illinois. Jo is currently a student at Berklee College of Music majoring in Songwriting. As an alumni of Waubonsie Valley High School, much of her background has been built upon her alma mater’s music program, allowing for her to be involved in musical theater productions such as The Wedding Singer, The Addams Family, and Matilda. In addition to her theater program, Jo was also involved in showchoirs, Soundcheck, and Resonance, accapella groups Una Voce and Pink Notes, Chamber Choir, and spiritual/gospel group Mosaic. Now as a college student, she continues to write and produce her own music while performing live at various Boston venues, and looks forward to continuing to share her craft with the rest of the world. Jo is incredibly excited to be a part of the Stage Presence team!

Hey there, fellow guitar enthusiasts! I'm Connor, and I bring over 18 years of playing experience and nearly a decade of teaching to the table. My passion lies in a diverse range of genres including jazz, blues, rock, funk, reggae, and country.

With my extensive background, I'm here to help you navigate the guitar landscape, no matter where you are in your musical journey. Whether you're into jamming to bluesy tunes, rocking out with powerful chords, or exploring the intricacies of improvisation, I've got you covered.

My teaching approach is all about catering to your unique learning style and goals. Together, we'll dive into chords, scales, technique, and everything else you need to become a confident player. Whether you're a beginner ready to strum your first chords or an intermediate player looking to refine your skills, I'm here to provide guidance and support every step of the way.
