Performance-Focused Ensemble Training (Ages 8–18)

At Stage Presence, we believe music education should be inclusive, accessible, and fun — no matter your background or skill level. Stage Presence Band is a 12-week program where students apply their private lesson skills in a real ensemble setting and prepare for live performance.

Private lessons are strongly recommended to support individual growth and success in the ensemble

🎶 Weekly Band Rehearsals

  • Start Date: March 2nd, 2026

  • Day/Time: Mondays, 5:00–6:30 PM

  • Focus:
    • Play in sync as a group
    • Strengthen listening, consistency, and tempo
    • Practice professional rehearsal etiquette
    • Build accountability and responsibility within the ensemble

  • Students should arrive prepared and ready to rehearse each week.

🎵 Recommended Private Lessons

  • Weekly private lessons help students:
    • Master individual parts
    • Improve technique and confidence
    • Progress faster in the ensemble setting

(Recommended, not required, but strongly supports success.)

🎤 Performances

  • Students perform as the opening act for Something Rotten (Stage Presence’s next musical production)!

  • Minimum 2 / Maximum 5 shows depending on ticket sales — exact number confirmed closer to the show dates

  • All audience members must have purchased tickets

  • Mandatory Performance Rehearsals: May 25–27 at Scottish Rite, San Jose

  • Performance Dates: May 28–31 at Scottish Rite, San Jose


📍 Locations

  • March 1 - May 18, 2026: Zero’s House, Los Altos

  • From May 25, 2026 onward: Scottish Rite, San Jose

  • No rehearsal during Spring Break

💵 Tuition

  • $475/month per student

  • Includes weekly band rehearsals, performance preparation, and participation

  • Policies:
    • Band rehearsals cannot be made up due to ensemble structure
    • Program follows studio academic calendar; no rehearsals during scheduled closures
