Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue… and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to make a difference, the Broadway stars team up with the courageous student, leading to a transformation that brings everyone together in the name of love and acceptance.

Cost: $700 (Participation Cost of $600, $100 non-refundable costume fee)
Notable dates: Auditions & callbacks: June 3rd-4th 5pm-8:30pm (video submissions accepted)
TBD Read Through: June 5th 5pm-8:30pm
Rehearsals will take place M-Th June 11-July 9, 2026 9am-2pm If you are still in school until June 11th or 12th, please mark it as a conflict and do not stress about it.
Tech Rehearsals: July 12th, 13th, & 15th and TBD July 16th 3pm-9pm
Performances: July 16-19, 2026 (TBD shows July 16th and 19th) The full rehearsal schedule will be released after casting. Please see calendar below for dates/timeframes.
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Step 1: Please register below using our opus1 booking system for our Summer Production of The Prom and accept the terms and conditions after you pay! This system will ask for a deposit of $350 to secure your spot. If you are ready to pay your balance, just login and pay. All payments are due in full by May 1st, 2026.
Step 2: Please fill out our registration information form via the button below.
Step 3: Please fill out our detailed emergency contact form below. If you have filled one our this season, please instead email us at: productions@mystagepresence.com to notify us.
Your student will be registered when all three steps are complete.
**Please note that in Opus, you will be able to log in and see our rehearsals, but please follow the rehearsal calendar live on this page for the most accurate information. (We do our best to update both!) Please also note that the length of class reflected in Opus will not be accurate for auditions/callbacks/tech because only one time length can be set in here. All considered, please refer to our rehearsal schedule via our website:
A Note on our Casting Style:
At Stage Presence we do our best to create an environment where we feature as many of our performers as possible by putting them on tracks rather than casts. We want our audiences to enjoy the magic of live theater that shifts and grows each and every show.
